Pollen grains are the physical form of yearning for life. These small particles are almost indestructible. Their distinct structure allows them to survive in different environments. I found it fascinating how such a tiny particle can be so strong to protect the possible life in it. Seed: Pollen is an inaccurate human imitation of nature’s complexity and accuracy.

Seed is a universal symbol of life and hope. In this series of hand-held sculptures, I want to create something that can be activate by hands. The touch of objects is important in religious rituals and cultural practices. We, as humans, have a habit of designating emotional and spiritual roles on inanimate objects. Seeds are created to serve as a personal anchor that helps the owner feel safe and grounded especially under the impact of COVID 19.
